Browser-based medieval strategy game

Goodgame Empire is a browser-based strategy game, inspired by Travian, Age of Empires Online and all the other games in the genre, without bringing any real innovations. It's about growing your empire through building your castle, training an army and embarking on military expansion. Pretty basic and graphically okay, unfortunately Goodgame Empire quickly resorts to requesting that the player pay to stay competitive.

The game is only about money now. No skill is involved. With the timers it is a no brainer to build. With being able to buy troops you just buy and attack. You buy your equipment. They still have not made rules who can attack you. A fully developed castle can attack a level 50. This is 820 levels lower because you have the 70 levels that have legendary 800. A legendary 70/800 is so much stronger than a 70/1 it is just unfair. Even if both use money the upper castle will win. They can carry six waves of troops while the 70/1 can only carry 4 waves. They have made the new international 3 server to try and extract all they can from the game. The other servers are dying and most are ghost towns. Instead of just gathering everyone and putting them on the same server they opened Inter 3 so you would have to build from start to finish. I will never play one of their games again. This game will be dead in a year.
